CCRN excels at education initiatives. We have a strong reputation of providing quality education programs that address timely topics and are presented by leading international experts.

Our case study approach with interactive group discussion, in addition to expert lecture is widely appreciated. This interactive programming allows the attendees to bring learned knowledge back to the patient bedside and result in improved patient care. We offer stellar CME programs, accreditation and have a policy for multi sponsorship funding where possible.

Expert Forums

CCRN holds regular Expert Forum meetings throughout the year to discuss important medical issues. At these meetings, invited top-tier experts and KOLs (key opinion leaders) are brought together to discuss important and sometimes controversial issues that are impacting patient care.

These high level discussions lead to the development of timely and important CME opportunities, writing of publications and to the development of research initiatives that are necessary to address questions where clarity is needed.

Leading Edge

The Leading Edge is a print and online publication developed by the Canadian Cardiovascular Research Network. Through the Leading Edge, CCRN hopes to update physicians and other health care professionals in the latest advances in cardiovascular medicine. By bringing together the opinions of expert researchers, clinicians, and communicators, CCRN hopes that the Leading Edge becomes a must-read in your clinical practice. Each issue also features a front-page column entitled 'The Bottom Line' which quickly conveys the most important learning points within that issue.
